Find Your Perfect Bra Size

Every Platinum Door PinUp bra is handmade using US bra sizing. For the best fit, take both measurements while wearing an unpadded bra. Keep the measuring tape comfortably snug, level around your body and parallel to the floor.

Step 1: Measure Your Band Size

Wrap the measuring tape directly beneath your bust where the bra band naturally rests.

If your measurement falls between two sizes, choose the larger band for a more comfortable fit or the smaller band for a firmer, more supportive fit.

Step 2: Measure Your Cup Size

Measure around the fullest part of your bust without pulling the tape too tightly. Subtract your snug underbust measurement from your full-bust measurement. The difference determines your cup size.

In The Platinum Door PinUp sizing, an F cup represents a 6-inch difference and may be called a DDD or F by other US lingerie brands.

Example

If your snug underbust measures 32 inches and the fullest part of your bust measures 36 inches:

36 − 32 = 4-inch difference

Your recommended bra size is 32D.

How Your Bra Should Fit

A properly fitted bra should have:

• A band that sits level across your back without riding upward

• Cups that fully contain your breasts without spilling or gaping

• A center front that rests comfortably against your chest

• Straps that stay in place without digging into your shoulders

• Underwires that surround your breast tissue without resting on it

Your new bra should fit comfortably on the loosest hook. This allows you to move to the tighter hooks as the band naturally relaxes over time.
